Chicago Dark Knights Series

This series consist of three standalones that can be read out of order. It is suggested to be read in order of release for the best experience.

Chicago Dark Knights #1

My whole life, I have only dreamt of being one thing.

A ballerina.

From the age of three, I was obsessed with tutus, leotards, pointe shoes and everything that dancing had to offer.

After years of hard work, sweat and tears, I finally was able to make the dreams of the little girl in me come true.

Years later, I’m dancing for one of the most respected companies in the world, leaving out a dream and living the best life that I could have ever imagined.

Everything was going according to how I’d mapped it out.

I hadn’t mapped out two little blue lines skating into my life after a one night stand.

Now, there’s a possibility of me losing the dream I worked so hard to achieve.

And it’s all thanks to a professional hockey player with pretty eyes and a nice smile.

Hockey Romance with a surprise pregnancy

Chicago Dark Knights #2

Hockey Romance, Forbidden workplace romance, coaches daughter

The majority of my life has centered around one thing and one thing only.

Being the daughter of a player, I know the ins and outs of the sport. Including the hurt that can come with it.

I’ve grown to hate it.

That hate runs so deep that when a player steps into my life in a towel, I do everything I can to hate him too.

After a few summer nights, though, it starts to become impossible.

Especially as the season starts and we spend more time together when I take the position as lead photographer on his team.

The same team my dad coaches.

Now I’m back in the hockey world, falling for a grumpy hockey player I should want nothing to do with and dealing with my dad and his apologies.

Fingers crossed being back in this world doesn’t hurt me anymore than it already has.

Chicago Dark Knights #3

Hockey Romance, Childhood best friends

From the age of five, I knew one thing;

Blake Jacobi was going to be in my life for a very long time.

For years, he was my protector, my best friend, my shoulder to cry on. I even followed him to Chicago when he got picked up by an NHL team.

Then lines got blurred and we landed in each other’s beds, but we were able to push feelings aside and not let a few little slips ruin our friendship.

At least, that’s what I keep telling myself.

Somewhere along the line, I fell in love with my best friend, and as much as I want to tell him, I can’t. All out of fear of losing him.

So I hold in those words and try to lose myself in meaningless relationships. But my efforts are for nothing when Blake lands himself in a jail cell.

All because of me.

Now those words that I’ve been wanting to tell him, will never see the light of day.

And it’s all my fault.
